You don't need to vote up top. Justification below this is more important. Honestly, I'm surprised that this didn't come up sooner.
I'll wait to voice my opinion so you guys don't feel influenced.
Here are my predictions: Joey - does not care Nick - sure Hendrix - No. Eric - won't log on to vote for this.
Prove me wrong, now!

So, that doesn't mean anything. and who? It's my mom's cousin (I think) who lives in California. She's a nurse and is completely normal except for the fact that she is in love with a female. I don't see how she is freakish.

Marriage does financial things to the two people involved. I think that the two people's funds are combined and used as one after marriage. Plus, partners aren't covered in life insurance. I think this is the whole premise of "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry". And not allowing something just because you think it's weird is just plain shallow minded. The only real argument that people use is that marriage is a bond between a man in a woman... in their religion. In my opinion, it should be legal, but the pastor that would marry them can refuse to go through with it. post modified for spelling purposes

sure, I still would disagree with it, though. I just can't see the reason why someone could be attracted to the same sex

They don't choose to be homosexual; it just happens. no, Jim, they choose. think of bi-sexuals, they choose. and any one who is gay has the choice, its not a mental dysfunction. only in rare that a gay person has a child could it be more of a brain structure issue. the fact is, gay people can chose to be gay or straight, but depending on certain factors it can make it difficult for them to chose otherwise. while there are those who say there is a 'gay gene', there really isn't. while a gay person's brain may have a different organization that a straight person's, it is because the hormones will react differently to things that would otherwise arouse a straight person. these hormonal differences include how the more older brothers a boy may have, the better chance for him to be gay, due to hormonal adjustments in the mother's womb. and it is known that lesbians tend to blink more like men (this is something significant) and have finger lengths similar to men. while your sexual orientation as a gay has somewhat of a biological factor, it doesn't mean you can't chose otherwise. studies do show that therapy can make people think differently about their orientation. and there is also the growing fact that a good majority of gay people are either pressured into being gay or became gay to stand out in the crowd.

As crude as it is, it's really this simple... (Don't give me any warnings because there's is no better way to say this). If you're a dude, and women don't get you up, but men do, then you're gay and there's nothing you can do about it. You can't choose to change that. If you can, than you're lying to everyone else and you're lying to yourself.
But the people who do it for the attention... well... that's another story. They're not necessarily gay, they're just flamers. They're the so-called "freaks."
Normal gay people really wouldn't be caught dead in Pride Parades.

There is still a factor of choice, though, while gay people don't often choose otherwise, its because they don't mind being gay, but they still can choose.

I am not saying that i am for OR against but i am saying that it is defiantly not (quote) "Normal" to be sexually attracted to someone of the same gender as your own.
